Tracing my heritage has been a passion of mine for over 25 years. One of the important things that I do when researching is visit cemeteries and instead of photographing just the known relatives I photograph the headstone/memorial of everyone in the cemetery. Not only does this make additional research easier but I share all the photos on-line at Find a Grave so that others who may not be able to travel to distant cemeteries, may be able to locate someone they have been looking for. One of the many projects I am currently working on is a Memorials/Tributes book that will cover those of my relatives who's graves I have located and photographed and what I remember of them - before these memories pass on with me. My children didn't get to know half of their great aunts and uncles and I want to share what a loving family we come from with them. I also had many friends pass that I would like to pay special homage to - so if you feel the same and would like to create a memorial/tribute page, I hope you will find something you can utilize from my kits. No matter what kit [if any] you use, I encourage you to scrap and journal now, before time passages and memories are lost.
